Local SEO for Multi-Clinic ABA Practices: A Location-Page Playbook

Most families find an ABA provider through local search. For a multi-clinic group, that means every location has to earn its own visibility - a single "Locations" page won't do it. Here's the playbook.

Why local search decides the game

When a parent searches "ABA therapy near me" or "autism services in [city]," Google assembles the results from local signals: proximity, a complete Google Business Profile, consistent citations, and a genuinely relevant page for that area. If your competitor has those and you don't, they win the click before you're ever compared.

Location pages, done right

Each clinic needs its own indexable page with unique content - not a template with the city name swapped in. Thin, duplicated location pages are worse than none, because they can drag down the whole domain.

A strong ABA location page includes:

  • The clinic's real name, address, and phone number (NAP), marked up with LocalBusiness structured data.
  • Services offered at that specific location and the ages served.
  • Genuinely local detail: neighborhoods and school districts served, parking, telehealth availability.
  • Insurance accepted at that clinic, and a clear, mobile-friendly way to start intake.

Google Business Profiles are half the battle

Claim and fully complete a Google Business Profile for every clinic, with accurate categories, hours, photos, and services. Post to them regularly and respond to reviews. For local intent, a well-run profile often outperforms your website - and the two reinforce each other.

NAP consistency and citations

Your name, address, and phone number must match exactly everywhere they appear - your site, Google, directories, and health listings. Inconsistent NAP is one of the most common and most fixable reasons multi-clinic practices underperform in local search. Audit it, clean it up, and keep it consistent as you open new locations.

Measure by location

Track local rankings, profile actions, and qualified inquiries per clinic, not just at the domain level. Growth is uneven across markets, and location-level reporting tells you where to reinvest and where a page or profile needs work.
